The Zipper Junction Project™, will be collecting toy and monetary donations at the train stations where The Stourbridge Line departs and arrives for the Santa Christmas Tree Express, the Pocono Winter Wonderland Express, and the Holiday Dinner Train excursions. Bring a toy, have some refreshments, ride the train, and even pick out a Christmas tree! What a wonderful way to spend the day while also helping the community that the railroad calls home. Santa Christmas Tree Express – Excursion details from The Stourbridge Line: Climb aboard for a unique Christmas experience with a ride on the Santa Christmas Tree Express. Travel in comfort in our heated coaches as we dash down the tracks to our trackside Christmas venue. Once we arrive, climb off the train (steps required) to visit Santa, and enjoy complimentary Hot Chocolate.
Passengers will have approximately one hour to visit Santa and choose and purchase that unique Christmas tree from Dein’s pre-cut Christmas Tree lot if they would like. We’ll bale and tag it, and you can watch it being loaded on our flat car. Then passengers and trees will be returned to the station. Once the train arrives back at the station, our crew will unload the trees and place them so you can take them to your vehicle.
Please note that the tree cost is an additional cost. Christmas trees are priced individually and sold by Dein Nurseries. Prices will vary according to the size and variety of trees. Wreaths and potted trees will also be available. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

Pocono Winter Wonderland Express – Excursion details from The Stourbridge Line: Join us for a 1.5 hour round trip excursion from Honesdale along the Lackawaxen River. This is one of the best ways to take in the natural beauty of the Northern Pocono Mountains. Keep your eyes open for bald eagles and other wildlife along the river. The railcars are heated, and restrooms are available on board.

Three course dinner including: Salad, Entre, Specialty Potato, Vegetable and Dessert
Choose from any of the following entrees: Spinach Ricotta Stuffed Veal au Jus (GF) / Wild Salmon w/ Cranberry Ginger glaze (GF) / Roasted Pork Chop w/Cabernet Mushroom reduction (GF) / Also includes dessert (Accommodations made for dietary restrictions when requested at time of reservation.)
Our dining car has tables of 2 or 4, please note that tables of 2 are on the forest view side of the train. Seating is assigned in the order that reservations are received. This is a BYOB event. Please let us know if you are bringing wine or beer.

The Wayne County Ford and Bold Gold Media Holiday Toy Drive Challenge is partnering with The Zipper Junction Project™, to challenge the community to fill the beds of four or more Ford pick-up trucks with gifts for those less fortunate. If that goal is achieved, Wayne County Ford will fill another truck as their gift to the community.

Walmart Toy, Gift, and Donation Collection
Come out and see the volunteers that make The Holiday Toy Drive happen and donate toys and gifts to help support this wonderful program. The Zipper Junction Project and its team of Elves are just the folks in the middle. We need the entire community to help us help those in need of a bit of extra help around the holidays to brighten the lives of our community’s kids. Bring gifts and toys with you, or see us for a special list of items we know will be appreciated, that you can pick up right inside Walmart. Of course, monetary donations will also be very much appreciated. Hope to see you all there!
